Paul Bunch

President and Chief Creative Officer

Paul has worked in the industry writing and directing film and television projects for twenty-five years. Son of director Jack Bunch, Paul paid his dues under the tutelage of a well-respected man who touted, above all else, creative freedom. This has driven Paul to write unique film projects that represent his own brand of comedy.

At age 16, while attending Hollywood Professional School, Paul discovered his love for acting when he wrote and directed his first play starring himself and Tatum Oneal.

A true believer in honing one's craft, Paul continued his training at Howard Fine Studios, finishing in the Master Class. Paul found his comedy voice as a member of the Groundlings School of Improv where he performed for 3 years.

As an Executive Producer, Paul has worked with A-list stars including Bradley Cooper, Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, and Terrence Howard.

Paul just finished directing the Action/Comedy Bachelor Lions with James Maslow, Mitchel Musso, and Jon Lovitz and begins work this Spring on his next film, a script he also wrote, 7 Days as a Kingpin.

As head of creative development at RiverRock, Paul Bunch spends most of his time nurturing the more than 40 film and television projects currently in development at RiverRock Films.

Jack Kavanaugh

Chairman

Jack Kavanaugh, MD, DDS, MBA, has a convergence of rare skills and business accomplishments. He has developed and managed companies at every stage – from inception to successful sale.

Among the multiple business ventures that Kavanaugh has managed successfully is the Mexican merger of the U.S. based pharmaceutical company, Merck and the merger that created Cemex, one of the largest cement companies in the world. Dr. Kavanaugh’s private equity projects include: Tech Team Global, Amerident, Calhoun Vision Inc, Materia Inc and ZetaRX. In each of these cases Dr. Kavanaugh either founded the company or sat on the board playing a significant role in their success.

Now Jack turns his attention to the entertainment industry bringing his wealth of experience and business acumen to RiverRock Films. Jack has consulted to entertainment based companies in the past and most recently executive produced the feature film Earth to Echo. As the new Chairman of RiverRock Films, Jack has already had an impact building strategic partnerships using his industry connections and successfully negotiating the acquisition of new IP and book story rights.

Dr. Kavanaugh holds D.D.S., M.B.A. and B.A degrees from UCLA, an M.D. degree from U.S.C., and was a Board Certified eye surgeon, having done his residency at UCLA’s Jules Stein Institute, where he was a part time visiting professor until 2008, teaching surgery to residents and fellows.

Matthew Kavanaugh

CEO

Matthew Kavanaugh brings his more than three decades of entertainment experience to RiverRock Films. An LA native, Matthew’s fascination with the entertainment industry started in his early teens as a child actor. Matthew attended Crossroads School for the Arts and Sciences, Emerson College in Boston where he studied acting and film production, and Southwestern Law where he concentrated his studies in entertainment.

After law school, Matthew practiced as an entertainment attorney for the better part of a decade. He represented some of the most influential production companies, studios and individuals on a variety of transactional and litigation matters surrounding film, television, media, art, music, licensing, merchandizing, financing, intellectual property, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and numerous other issues.

In 2013, Matthew moved his attention to the business spectrum when he was engaged as the CEO and President of a billion dollar family office where he managed all investments, as well as oversaw and provided various brand, celebrity, advertising, retail and financial services to disruptive companies in entertainment, media, music, technology, gaming, and more. His passion for rapid development of companies lead Matthew to form Catalyst Advisors in 2016, to advise companies situated in entertainment, media and technology. After RiverRock engaged Matthew and Catalyst as a consultant, its Board of Directors determined that he was an indispensable member of the team and hired him as its new CEO.

Matthew brings his passion for the entertainment industry coupled with his extensive experience as a businessman, a CEO, an entertainment lawyer, a producer and an actor to complete the RiverRock team and carry out its mission to grow into one of the most influential and successful production companies in Hollywood.

Van Dichoso

Van Gerard Dichoso, is the CFO at RiverRock Films and is also in charge of investor relations, business development and marketing.

Van is also a CPA is President & CEO of the Dichoso Group of Companies: Dichoso and Company, CPA, Inc. (a full service CPA firm with branch offices in Los Angeles) and Dichoso and Company, Inc. (a full service real estate, insurance, and investment company in Glendale).

Mercer Boffey

Mercer Boffey

Executive Producer

Mercer Boffey was born in the Lower East Side of NYC. He went to LaGuardia High School of the Arts, then on to NYU Tisch for his BFA. An accomplished actor, Mercer has appeared in several off Broadway plays at the famed Playwrights Horizons and West Side Theater, and in television shows like Ugly Betty and Guiding Light, all while continuing his studies at Willam Esper Studios.

Mercer recently starred in a supporting role in the comedy Bachelor Lions and is slated to work with an A-List cast in the upcoming feature film 7 Days as a Kingpin. In addition to a career in acting, Mercer has flourished as a Executive Producer working on several projects currently in development at RiverRock Films. R. Scott Reid

Starting in the film business as a private equity investor, R. Scott Reid began learning the business in 2005. A natural fit, he graduated into producing content, starting in 2007 with – When a Man Falls staring Sharon Stone, Dylan Baker, and Timothy Hutton. The film earned an official selection into the 2007 Berlin Film Festival. It competed in the prestigious 'Competition Division' with films such as 300, The Good German, and Flags of our Fathers.

His ten years of experience as a fund manager brings RiverRock Films invaluable financial relationships and access to capital. Over the years, Paul Bojic has forged relationships with high profile clients and Hollywood insiders. Legal representation of clientèle includes Coldwell Banker, Century 21 Real Estate, Dyson & Dyson Real Estate, RE/MAX Real Estate and Matchstick Films.

As a film Producer of numerous films, independent productions and music videos, Mr. Bojic not only lends business experience but also brings a true understanding of production management and successful project completion.

As a producing partner of Producer, Ryan Adams (Paramount), he adds one of the most prolific post production teams in Hollywood to the list of resources at the disposal of RiverRock Films. He also manages numerous musical acts including Red Alert, Fontaine LaRock and Revelation and is legal counsel to Eduardo Sanchez of the Grammy Award winning, Banda Machos.

Dr. Ryan Gavino

Producing Partner

Dr. Gavino comes to RiverRock Films with an MBA in Executive Management and Marketing. His experience includes merging business relationships with entertainment companies domestically and internationally. He is currently building an international talent agency to discover and develop new talented actors, models and musicians abroad. Ryan is active in the community donating his time as an avid teacher to residents and medical students in the US and internationally.

Dr. Gavino is an integral part of RiverRock team. As an Executive Producer he is currently developing several feature films as well as the live version of THE VOICE REMASTERED at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. His most recent film, Bachelor Lions, is scheduled to be released by RiverRock Films later this year.


Ferdinand Dimadura

Executive Producer

Ferdinand started his career in entertainment as a gifted composer and lyricist and quickly found a way to display his talent by producing films. His first film “CHICKEN ALA CARTE”, a heart-wrenching documentary, was a winner at the Berlin International Film Festival and has been downloaded and viewed by more than twenty million people.

Ferdinand is a Music Graduate at the Universidad de Santa Isabel. He studied music composition under the tutelage of the late maestro Lucio San Pedro, a towering figure in the Philippines. Ferdinand has composed and produced songs for many of the Philippine’s singing superstars like Zsa Zsa Padilla, Rachel Ann Go, Christian Bautista, and Jolina Magdangal.

Ferdinand honed is craft in the world of advertising by producing, writing, directing and editing more than a hundred network television commercials for major brands around the world.

As a composer, lyricist and theater director, Ferdinand has staged six original musicals, including the critically acclaimed musical Something to Crow About, in off-Broadway theaters in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Ferdinand joins the RiverRock team as an Executive Producer and already has several film projects in development.


Shaun Liu

Producing Partner

Shaun Liu has been a highly successful businessman for many decades. He currently acts as the CFO of RiverRock Films and the Chairman of iMax Capital. He is also a board member of Meraq and Beijing Investment Group. In addition to these positions, Mr. Liu is a partner of Shanghai Zheru Financial -- a Fund Manager for the Corporate Bond in China.

Mr. Liu studied Computer Science and earned an MBA from Western Washington University in the United States. In addition, he dedicated many years in studying the Chinese bamboo flute at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.


Lee Michael Cohn

Producing Partner

For over 25 years, Lee Michael Cohn has held an international reputation as a producer, writer, director, and acting coach. As a feature film producer, Lee recently produced Bachelor Lions for RiverRock Films, starring James Maslow, David Arquette, Jon Lovitz, Robert Davi, Rene Olstead, and Mitchel Musso. He is currently producing their next film, Seven Days as a Kingpin, starring Adrien Brody and James Maslow. Lee is currently developing several TV and feature films projects with RiverRock that he has written or co-written. Lee was also an original member of the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City, which he co-founded with David Mamet, William H. Macy, Clark Gregg, and Felicity Huffman among others.

Lee is an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Comedy Writers Workshop, Hollywood’s most prestigious showcase for new comedy writers, where he was one of 25 writers selected annually out of over 700 applicants. He is also co-author of A Practical Handbook For The Actor, the all-time best-selling acting textbook that is required reading in hundreds of theatre programs and has been translated into Dutch, Japanese, Turkish, and Chinese. The Handbook is also the #1 best-selling acting book on Amazon.com and has sold over 300,000 copies.

Lee wrote and directed the independent TV pilot Crime Share for Route 17 Productions. He was also the director and co-creator of Inside Private Lives, the hit theatrical show that was the LA Weekly Pick of the Week, recommended twice by the LA Times, received a rave in the NY Times, and placed in the Top 10 at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival out of over 2,000 shows. It also won the SF Fringe Festival in the “Best Comedy/Improv” category. Running Bear Bunch grew up in a show business family, his father, Jack Bunch, having been a choreographer, writer, and director of film, television, and stage for shows such as Days of Our Lives, The Martha Raye Show, and The Milton Berle Show, as well as productions in Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Running Bear has followed in his father’s footsteps, beginning his entertainment career in 1995 with Sony Pictures VFX department, Imageworks, with films such as Anaconda, James and the Giant Peach, and Money Train.

Since then, Running Bear has performed a variety of roles in production, visual effects, and soundtrack, and as a producer for independent film and television project development.
